What other positions have you held with Home-Tech?

I haven’t had any other positions  within the company.

How has Home-Tech changed since you started working here?

Oh, wow. Well, moving from the old office on US 41 to this new facility was a big change. Now we have way more employees, trucks and another new building to add to our growth. Even during bad times, we kept growing as did our clientele.

What role has Home-Tech played in your life?

With what has been happening with the economy, having a job with Home-Tech gives me peace of mind. I know I will be financially secure here.

What is your favorite part of the job?

Lunch. Just kidding. I love accounting and numbers. The work and the wonderful people I work with make my job worthwhile.

Do you have any pet peeves?

I am a neat freak and am extremely organized. I have a system and ask others to follow it.

What advice to you give to newer Home-Tech employees?

TURN IN YOUR RECEIPTS. I tell them that I hope they stay for years and years because Home-Tech is truly worth it.

Any big news to share?

I am going to be a Grandmother! My first grandchild, a boy, is due on December 7th, Pearl Harbor Day.

Outside of Home-Tech, what are your hobbies or passions?

My husband and I are avid campers, the RV-ing kind. We travel to the state parks in Florida and our favorite is Myakka State Park. We try to camp at least once a month.

Tell us a secret?

I used to be shy, if you can imagine that. Now I am a blabber mouth.
