Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house,
Paced a frantic mother, her children and her very supportive spouse.
On the counter lay a raw goose and dishes for tomorrow’s feast,
The oven wasn’t working. The pies were pre-baked, at least.
Pots, pans and dishes were thrown into the sink with a clatter,
The family had gathered to see what was the matter.
And mama in her ‘kerchief, threw her apron on the floor.
“I knew I needed appliance repair two weeks before!”
She buried her head into her hands and let out a long sigh,
“Christmas is ruined.” She tried not to cry.
Her husband grabbed his cell phone and started to dial.
“I’ll call Home-Tech! They’ll be here in a short while!”
She looked up at him with a very big grin.
“You’re a genius!,” she proclaimed. Soon the cooking could begin.
He placed the Gold Service Agreement they’d purchased into her hand,
With Home-Tech on the way, Christmas dinner would be grand.
Out the window she looked to see who would show up.
It was a Home-Tech technician, in a shiny red repair truck.
Like a superhero, he came in and saw the kitchen disarray.
“Don’t worry! We’ve got you covered! All will be well for Christmas Day!”
Swiftly he looked in the oven with focus and care.
“Ah yes, I see the problem, you definitely need an appliance repair.”
“You have a bad control board, which would hinder your cooking,
Let’s see what I parts I have in stock,” and to his truck he went looking.
With a box in hand and he ran back from his truck.
It was all the needed parts. They were surely in luck!
“I’ll have this fixed up in a jiffy, so you can celebrate with ease.”
Those Home-Tech technicians surely know how to please.
“Oh, thank you!” cried Mama, wiping the sweat from her head.
“You’ve saved our Christmas! How can we repay you?” she pled.
The Home-Tech technician smiled as he packed up his gear.
“No Charge ma’am. With a Gold Agreement you never will fear.”
There was NO CHARGE for the service call, which made them feel great,
And he came in such a hurry, in the evening, SO late.
He sprang to his truck and drove out of sight.
Merry Christmas to all, thanks to Home-Tech, tonight.
