Where are you from originally?

I was born in Wilmington, Delaware. I lived many years in Bethany Beach before moving to Florida 10 years ago.

What is your favorite part of the job?

I really enjoy the research part of this job. Finding the different parts that are necessary to repair an air conditioning system or appliance is fascinating and difficult at times. My job is a little different every day and the learning curve took some time. But now, I truly enjoy it because I know my role is important to the customer and to the technician, and the overall outcome of the service.

What advice do you give to newer Home-Tech employees?

I would tell them that being overwhelmed at first is normal. You have to remember that Home-Tech is one big family, and being the newest family member is tough when you feel like an outsider. Take the time to know your fellow employees. Before you know it, you will be one of the gang.

What are your interests outside of Home-Tech?

I read a lot and I enjoy swimming.

Tell us a secret?

I used to work for NASCAR (yes, the real NASCAR). I handled logistics and got the racing teams from one place to another.

What is Christmas with Catherine Bryson like?

Well, it’s a bit stressful. I have to cook for 22 people.

Is there a dish everyone looks forward to?

Oh yes! My pineapple stuffing to go with the ham. It’s like a bread pudding.

Can I have the recipe?

No. Tony is the only Home-Tech employee who received the honor of my recipe.
