A leprechaun and the Easter Bunny have officially been spotted at Home-Tech. This spring, we know exactly what these two characters are wanting others to know.
It’s happened again!
Remember last St. Patrick’s Day when Mick O’ Malley of Southwest Florida opened his refrigerator and discovered a wee, green leprechaun lurking inside? Sure, Mick had indulged in a few too many bottles of Guinness, but we all know that with a little luck of the Irish and some spirited beverages, leprechauns have been known to appear on St. Patty’s Day.

A Leprechaun and the Easter Bunny – Holidays Collide
This time, however, the Easter Bunny joined the Leprechaun spotted by Mick. This is what happens sometimes when St. Patrick’s Day and Easter come so close together. St. Patrick’s Day was last week; Easter is this week, therefore mythical creatures tend to have collisions – and in the strangest places.
Ya’ see, Mick was disheartened the weekend after St. Patrick’s Day to find that area temperatures had climbed way back up into the 80’s again, so with a slight Guinness hangover, he begrudgingly closed his glass sliders and went to the thermostat to turn the air on – and there he was — that wee, green leprechaun right there on top of the dial. Mick blinked his eyes twice, trying to unsee the little fellow, but when Mick turned the A/C on and the machine didn’t kick in, the leprechaun did a little jig and said:
“Oh, poor Mick
I know you’re feeling a bit sick
And now you have no air
It’s just not fair
It’s a Service Agreement you need
From Home-Tech, my words you should heed!”
Advice From A Bunny
Knowing this all had to be a dream, or rather a hot sweaty nightmare, Mick ran outside to check the A/C unit – and there he was, the Easter Bunny dressed in overalls and carrying a basket of Home-Tech Service Agreement brochures. Mick stared in disbelief as the perky bunny hopped around him and said:
“Golly, Mick, Easter’s almost here
You should have gotten in gear
It’s hot and steamy
And you’re A/C is being a meany
You need a Service Agreement from Home-Tech
So you won’t feel like a sweaty wreck.”
Home-Tech to the Rescue
It can be jarring when holidays collide, but Mick got the message, he called Home-Tech for a Service Agreement quote at 800-800-8356. This way, all of his major appliances would be covered, even plumbing and electrical. When the Home-Tech technician arrived to repair Mick’s air conditioner, all visions of dancing leprechauns and hopping Easter Bunnies disappeared. But, let’s not forget – Christmas is only a little over 250 days away – and Mick has a chimney.
Happy Spring Holidays from Home-Tech! And if you’re getting ready to close up your Florida home and head up North you might want to check out this tip video from Home-Tech about how to do it.
